My skin is so heavy today
It was the same yesterday
It might be the same tomorrow
It feels so heavy to walk around
And to sleep
In and out of it, through the day
My skin is still so heavy,
When I dream,
It gets caught in tumble weed
My skin sticks on to the glaciers
As I slide down the mountains
With the avalanche
My skin, it's dry like a rock
Like the cracks in the desert
It rolls like the dunes
My skin is so heavy to hold
But my spirit, light
Without it I might be lost and aimless, and helplessly, take flight.
