I like having something to do

I like having something to do
At the rallies
At home
When I'm on the phone.

I like having something to do
It's labour;
Intellectual labour,
The least intellectual kind.

I like having something to do,

And when it’s all done and dusted and I'm on my way home, that's when I saw two women use Palestinian flags as prayer mats;
They laid the flags on the ground infront of them, another joined them with her Keffiyeh, and in the scorching heat, a bit away from the crowd, they prayed.

Knowing exactly what they were praying for, and now that I had nothing else to do,
that's when I hid behind my hat,
and had no other choice,
but to uncontrollably cry;

Till I found something to do again,
I like having something to do.

Baby Sparky.
