Let's have a cigarette
Outside the bar
In the alleyway
Next to the beer garden
Let's share a cigarette
As we eavesdrop on others
Then let's share another
And eavesdrop some more
And then, walk past people
On the busy side walk
To tap on their shoulders
Make them turn around
But we won't be there
We'd be long gone..
I'd be dead,
And you'll just be home
After a long life of lust
So many fights at the bar
So many bottles
Of alcohol
You will also die one day
And when you do
On your last day
Do not forget that
We loved
And then
We loved some more
It was always just our turn
To live and let die
It was just our turn
To share one cigarette, outside.
Mortality Sparky.
